CONTROL BURN NOTICE

Scott and Bartlett Ravines

The Town of Fort Sheridan MHA ravine vendor, Conservation Land Stewardship (CLS), will be conducting a control burn in both Scott and Bartlett ravines.  The burn is scheduled for March 14, 2016, weather permitting.

Please note, burning is wholly dependent upon weather and site conditions, precise scheduling is difficult to forecast in advance.   CLS will be providing updates starting 48 hours prior to the scheduled burn.  CLS updates will be posted on the Lieberman eSTAR website, as well as the Town of Fort Sheridan website www.fortsheridan.com.  Please make sure to check the websites regularly in the event weather conditions change. 

An email blast with updated control burn information will be sent to all Fort residents on Thursday, March 10.  In addition, CLS will be posting sign notices at the Sheridan Road entrance of the Fort on the days in which the burn will be conducted.
